The club offers a wide range of football programmes for juniors, youth, senior men, and senior women. They have skilled coaches and development officers who focus on providing high-quality training sessions and opportunities for players to enhance their skills. Southland Football Inc. is proud to have Iain Walker as the Football Development & Operations Manager, responsible for the business functions and game development in the region.
Iain brings his expertise and experience from playing amateur football in Scotland, including participating in a National Cup Final at Hampden Park in Glasgow in 1998.
Ryan Gardiner, the Football Development Officer, plays a vital role in overseeing football development across Southland. He takes care of junior competitions, summer football, and futsal, ensuring that players have opportunities to participate and enjoy the sport. Ryan has the experience of playing against the Glasgow Rangers Academy and training at their prestigious training ground in Scotland.
Gargi Lele, another Football Development Officer, is responsible for football development across Southland, specifically focusing on senior competitions, girls, and women's development, and fantails. Gargi has had the privilege of being a part of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 in New Zealand. She brings her enthusiasm and dedication to promoting football as a fun, safe, and fitness-oriented activity that brings people from around the world together.
