LymYoga, led by the experienced Clare Collins, is a vibrant yoga community based in Christchurch, UK. Clare’s classes cater to all abilities and focus on mindfulness and relaxation.
In her 30s, Clare initially embraced yoga for its fitness benefits but soon discovered its power to heal and help navigate life's challenges. Her goal at LymYoga is to offer a space where everyone, whether feeling stressed or self-conscious, can relax, focus on their breathing, and let go of any competitiveness or judgement.
Classes at LymYoga are slower-paced, incorporating Hatha yoga principles and sometimes blending into a gentle vinyasa flow. This approach helps improve joint mobility, strength, and flexibility, all while creating a serene atmosphere with soothing music. Each session wraps up with a short relaxation period, ensuring everyone leaves feeling refreshed and calm.
Clare, a secondary science teacher part-time, finds her two passions complement each other beautifully. To bridge the gap further, she’s even taking a Teen Yoga Foundation course, preparing her to teach yoga to teenagers.
LymYoga offers in-person and online classes, including one-on-one sessions. You can watch recorded classes, access free shorter sessions on YouTube and Facebook, or purchase other recordings for just £3 each. Clare also plans to announce new workshops in 2024.
