Louisa Mac Yoga also offers group yoga classes suitable for seniors at Garnethill Multicultural Centre. The class is a community class designed specifically for seniors and is part of the centre's wellbeing programme. It includes gentle movement and breathing exercises in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, followed by a healthy lunch and socialising. For those new to yoga or in the early stages of their practise, the Beginners/Level 1 class on Thursdays is perfect. It is a small group class that provides the opportunity to explore the fundamental poses of yoga, as well as breathwork, meditation, and relaxation techniques. Each week builds on the previous week, and there is time for questions and discussion at the end of each session.
Gentle Yoga on Fridays is a general class suitable for beginners or those with some yoga experience. All levels of fitness are welcome, and students will learn techniques to increase strength and stamina, release tension, improve breathing, and reconnect with their bodies.
In addition to regular classes, Louisa Mac Yoga also offers corporate yoga classes to businesses in the Glasgow area. These classes can be hosted at the home studio during lunchtime hours, providing a convenient and rejuvenating experience for employees.
