All of our teams play in the prestigious Watford Friendly League and also participate in the Hertfordshire County Cup. Being affiliated with the Hertfordshire FA and accredited by the FA ensures that our players have access to high-quality coaching and uphold the standards set by these governing bodies. Soccer School London Colney Youth FC runs a Soccer School every Saturday morning for children from Reception age upwards. The sessions are divided into two groups: 9-10am for Nursery, Reception, and Year One, and 10-11am for Year Two, Year Three, and Year Four.
The aim of our Soccer School is to provide a fun and inclusive environment for children to develop their football skills and love for the game. Our Philosophy At London Colney Youth FC, we believe in promoting a spirit of fair play, team spirit, and camaraderie. We emphasise that football is for everyone and can be played by anyone, regardless of age, gender, religion, ethnic or social background, or level of fitness. Our goal is to create an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all our players, where they can learn and grow while having fun.
Positions of Play We strongly believe that in order to develop well-rounded and confident players, it is crucial for them to experience different positions on the field. By allowing players to explore various roles, they gain a deeper understanding of the game and become more versatile. This approach helps them adapt to different situations and develop a broader skillset. All players are encouraged to embrace the opportunity to play in different positions and contribute to the team's success.
Club Policies At London Colney Youth FC, we have a set of club policies in place to ensure the smooth operation and a positive environment for all involved. These policies include the FA Respect Code of Conduct for spectators, parents/carers, match officials, coaches, and players. We also have policies on safeguarding, inclusivity and diversity, photography and filming, complaints procedure, and disciplinary actions. We take these policies seriously and expect all members, parents, and supporters to adhere to them.
