Mike's mindfulness classes are perfect for incorporating yoga and mindfulness principles into everyday life. His inclusive approach and kindness create a welcoming environment where everyone can benefit and gain wisdom.
The benefits of yoga are numerous. Originating in India over 5,000 years ago, yoga is translated as 'Union'. Yvonne's classes unite physical postures (Asana) with breath practises (Pranayama), relaxation, and meditation. Through yoga, you can strengthen, stretch, and relax your skeletal, muscular, digestive, cardio-vascular, glandular, and nervous systems, as well as boost your immune system.
Breathing is a natural function, but tension often interferes with it. Through pranayama practise, you can learn to breathe well, direct the breath, and feel it in different parts of your body. This strengthens your immune system, calms the mind, and stimulates the body's energy, preparing you for meditation.
