These courses are designed to provide a solid foundation in archery techniques and safety. Have-A-Go Sessions : We love getting out into the community and introducing people to the sport of archery. Throughout the year, we hold Have-A-Go sessions at our field, local fetes, and other events. These sessions allow anyone to give archery a try, regardless of age or experience. Our skilled instructors will provide all the necessary equipment and guidance to ensure a safe and enjoyable introduction to the sport.
Our Shooting Venues : We are fortunate to have access to both an idyllic outdoor shooting venue in the fields of Furzenhall Road, Biggleswade, and an indoor venue at Stratton Upper School during the winter months. Our outdoor venue provides a picturesque backdrop for target archery, while the indoor venue ensures that our members can continue shooting throughout the year regardless of weather conditions.
Affiliations : Kestrels Archery Club is proud to be affiliated with the Bedfordshire County Archery Association (BCAA) and the Southern Counties Archery Society (SCAS). These affiliations allow our members to participate in county and regional competitions, as well as access to a wider archery community and resources.
