Or have been shooting for many years; it doesn't matter, there's a category for everyone. Our open tournaments are a great opportunity to meet and compete with archers from different clubs and backgrounds.

Beginners Courses : If you're new to archery or looking to improve your skills, we offer beginners courses in partnership with a local nationally recognised training centre. These courses are designed to provide a solid foundation in archery techniques and safety. Whether you're interested in shooting as a hobby or want to pursue competitive archery, our qualified coaches will guide you through the process and help you achieve your goals.

Have-A-Go Sessions : We love getting out into the community and introducing people to the sport of archery. Throughout the year, we hold Have-A-Go sessions at our field, local fetes, and other events. These sessions allow anyone to give archery a try, regardless of age or experience. Our skilled instructors will provide all the necessary equipment and guidance to ensure a safe and enjoyable introduction to the sport.

Our Shooting Venues : We are fortunate to have access to both an idyllic outdoor shooting venue in the fields of Furzenhall Road, Biggleswade, and an indoor venue at Stratton Upper School during the winter months. Our outdoor venue provides a picturesque backdrop for target archery, while the indoor venue ensures that our members can continue shooting throughout the year regardless of weather conditions.

Affiliations : Kestrels Archery Club is proud to be affiliated with the Bedfordshire County Archery Association (BCAA) and the Southern Counties Archery Society (SCAS). These affiliations allow our members to participate in county and regional competitions, as well as access to a wider archery community and resources.

Community Involvement : We believe in giving back to our community, and that's why we regularly participate in events and hold Have-A-Go sessions. Whether it's introducing archery to local schools or supporting charitable causes, we strive to make a positive impact through our involvement.
