The training sessions at Keibudo Freestyle Karate are designed to provide a well-rounded experience, focusing on physical fitness, technique development, and self-defence skills. Each session begins with a comprehensive warm-up, full-body stretching, and strength and fitness exercises to ensure that students are prepared for the training ahead. A variety of training activities are incorporated on a rotation basis, including technique and combination practise, free sparring with appropriate control, kata (sequence moves in multiple styles), street situation self-defence practise with partners, and tournament techniques practise with partners.
To provide the most effective instruction, Keibudo Freestyle Karate has a team of dedicated black belt instructors who have at least 5 years of karate experience. These experienced instructors not only assist in coaching the students but also partner up with junior grades to demonstrate the proper technique and control. Furthermore, all instructors are registered and insured with the governing body NAKMAS, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Keibudo Freestyle Karate offers several session times to accommodate different schedules. On Wednesdays, sessions are held from 6:15 to 7:15, and on Mondays, there are two sessions available, from 6:15 to 7:15 and 7:30 to 8:30.
