Jolly Gymnastics is a vibrant and welcoming gymnastics club located in Norwich, New Zealand. With a focus on providing an enjoyable and enriching experience for children, Jolly Gymnastics offers a range of classes and programmes that cater to children from the age of walking up to Reception / School Year 1.
The club is run by Head Coach Erin Madden, who brings over 16 years of coaching experience to the team. Erin, a former regional gymnast herself, has a passion for teaching gymnastics to children and believes in creating a safe and friendly environment where children can not only learn gymnastics skills but also have a jolly time.
Jolly Gymnastics offers various classes to cater to different age groups and skill levels. For toddlers and their parents, there are unstructured parent and toddler classes where children can develop their strength, coordination, and flexibility through hopping, skipping, jumping, balancing, spinning, and swinging. These classes take place at Avian Studio and NR12 Gym, both located to the North of Norwich.
The club also offers structured parent and toddler classes for children aged 2 to 4, where children can continue their gymnastics journey with the support of their parents. For children aged 3 to 4, there are structured independent classes that focus on developing gymnastics skills and independence. Additionally, Jolly Gymnastics offers classes for Reception and Year 1 children, helping them build their gymnastics skills while improving fitness.
Jolly Gymnastics is an affiliated club with qualified coaches who prioritise safety and welfare. The club is fully insured, ensuring that children can participate in gymnastics activities with peace of mind. British Gymnastics membership is required for certain age groups, providing children with the opportunity to further their gymnastics journey and benefit from the resources and support that British Gymnastics offers.
The Jolly Gymnastics team is passionate about fostering a love for gymnastics in children and helping them develop their physical abilities. Coach Kylah Tranfield, who has been a gymnast since she was just 18 months old, brings her experience and expertise to the club. Additionally, Gemma Page serves as the club's Welfare Officer, ensuring that all children are well looked after and providing support and guidance to parents.
In addition to regular classes, Jolly Gymnastics also offers JOLLYGYM Parties, where children can have a jolly birthday celebration filled with gymnastics fun. The parties include exclusive use of the club's equipment, decorated to a theme of choice, and two coaches to supervise the party guests. A digital invitation, balloons, party bags, pass the parcel, and a small gift for the birthday child are all provided. All you need to bring is a cake and drinks, and the club will take care of the rest.
