Pete here from Hull Ionians RUFC. Just wanted to drop a quick note to our incredible sports community.
For those who don't know, Hull Ionians RUFC, right here in Brough, has been around for ages and is a big deal in the rugby scene. We've got everything from our first team to senior and junior squads, plus some cracking coaching staff determined to push the sport forward locally.
Our home turf, Brantingham Park, is top-notch. It’s got everything we need for training and matches, with plenty of space and excellent facilities. Whether you’re playing or watching, the atmosphere’s always buzzing.
We’ve got a whole range of teams, including the 1st XV, Buccaneers (2nd XV), and a women's 1st XV, not to mention our junior teams like the Colts, Under 15s, Under 16s, and Under 14s. We’re all about giving young talent a solid platform to grow and enjoy the game.
But it's not just about the rugby. We’re a real hub for the community with loads of social events – our annual sportsman's dinner is a highlight. And our club shop? Always lively. We strive to create a welcoming spot for everyone involved, whether you’re a player, a supporter, or family.
