Rachel Salmon here, just to give some quick info about RS Dance. You know Rachel - she's the one who’s been dancing since she could walk and now runs the show at RS Dance in Brough, East Yorkshire.
RS Dance isn’t just any dance school; it’s Rachel's brainchild aimed at giving kids a warm place to learn and strut their stuff in various dance styles. Whether you're in the mood for Modern, Contemporary, Street, Tap, Musical Theatre, or Jazz, there’s something here for everyone.
There’s a relaxed, once-a-week social class if you’re just looking to have a bit of fun. But if you’re serious about making a career out of dance, there’s also a more intensive programme, running up to 13 hours a week.
Rachel’s assembled a cracking team of fully qualified and experienced teachers. They all come with ISTD and/or RAD credentials, are CRB checked, and have even brushed up on their First Aid. So, you're in safe hands.
RS Dance is proud of its track record, helping kids become ace dancers while ensuring they have a blast. The school uses Graded and Vocational exams as a way to keep students motivated. And let's not forget, there are regular productions where the kids can showcase their skills.
For those real stars out there, there’s a chance to audition for Ballet and Contemporary scholarship programmes to take things to the next level.
