Welcome to Great Melton Bowls Club! Located in Norwich, we are a friendly and informal club that enjoys playing bowls in the picturesque Great Melton Park throughout summer. Our season starts in late April and runs until mid-September.
At Great Melton Bowls Club, we have a range of activities for our members to enjoy. We hold roll-ups on Mondays and Fridays from 5:30pm, as well as on Wednesdays from 2:00pm. These casual games allow members to practise their skills and enjoy some friendly competition. Additionally, we have an internal competition approximately every third Saturday afternoon during the season, giving members an opportunity to challenge themselves and have some fun.
One of the highlights of our club is our friendly matches against other local clubs. We have 10 clubs that we play against, both at home and away, which means we have a match most weeks during the summer. This allows our members to experience different bowling environments and build relationships with other bowlers in the area.
Membership at Great Melton Bowls Club is 30. 00 per year, which covers the annual subscription. Rink fees for members are 3. 00 per session, with non-members paying 3.
50 per session. For those who do not play but still want to be a part of our club, we offer social membership for 15. 00 per year. This is a great option for former members or those who wish to support our club's activities.
