Melton Ponds is a prestigious fishing club located in Norwich, New Zealand. With over 50 years of experience, Melton Ponds offers top-notch facilities and services for all types of anglers, including pleasure, specialist, and match fishing. The club is run by a dedicated Management Committee, consisting of the Board of Officers, the Committee, and Club Bailiffs, who ensure that members have the best possible fishing experience.

These events are held on Thursdays and Sundays, taking place in both the club's own lakes and local match venues. Melton Ponds is well-known for its picturesque lakes, each offering a unique fishing experience. Gt Melton Reservoir, the first lake, caters to pleasure anglers and is home to a variety of fish species, including smaller Carp, Tench, Roach, and Rudd. The second lake, Lt Melton Lake, is ideal for pleasure fishing and is stocked with young Carp, some of which have already reached double figures, as well as Tench and Bream. Finally, the complex's crown jewel, Melton Ponds, comprises three lakes.

Pond 1 hosts larger Carp, reaching up to 20lb, while Pond 2 is filled with smaller Carp. Pond 3 is stocked with an abundance of Tench and Crucian Carp, providing a diverse fishing experience for members.

In addition to matches and picturesque lakes, Melton Ponds offers a range of events and rules to enhance the angling experience. The club's Match section organises friendly matches on Thursdays and Sundays, and anglers can contact the Match Secretary for further details. Membership at Melton Ponds is open to anglers of all ages and skill levels. The club offers different membership options to cater to individual preferences. Full Adult Membership is available for those aged 18-64, while Concessionary/Registered Disabled Membership is offered to individuals aged 65 and over. Junior Membership is also available for those aged 10-17, and at an even lower fee, Junior Membership is extended to children under 10.
