Jamie here, the organiser at Gallery Bouldering, has some exciting news for the sports community. Gallery Bouldering is a new rock climbing gym in Oxford, ready to open its doors in late 2023. Jamie got the idea from the Netherlands' bouldering walls that have become quite the hit.
Located in The Gallery on Marston Street, it's the perfect spot for climbers of all levels. Whether you’re a seasoned pro pushing your limits or just looking for a fun way to stay fit, Jamie’s got you covered.
One of Jamie’s favourite parts of the gym is the café. After an intense climbing session, you can grab some high-quality Italian-style coffee, tasty food, or even a beer. It’s a great place to chill, chat with fellow climbers, and swap climbing tips.
You’ll find Gallery Bouldering conveniently between Cowley Road and Iffley Road, making it an easy walk from the city centre. Plus, there’s plenty of bicycle parking for those going green. If you’re driving, worry not; there’s limited car parking too.
Jamie’s made sure sustainability is a big focus here. With EV charging points, the gym supports eco-friendly practices and electric vehicle users.

You can climb on our dedicated bouldering wall in Oxford, with options for everyone from experts to people just looking to keep in shape. We also run events like competitions and film nights, and there’s a Clifftop Café open to non-climbers too.
We’re open 8am to 10pm every day, with early opening on Wednesdays at 7am.
