Come and join Dandenong Ranges Orienteering Club at the Fun with Maps event on Sunday, April 28 from 10 am to 1.30 pm at Abbey Walk, Vermont. This free family day is perfect for adults, kids, and students gearing up for the Secondary Schools orienteering competition in May. The event will be held in the parkland of Abbey Walk and Campbells Croft, providing a safe environment with no roads or streets to worry about. All maps, equipment, and materials will be provided, and parking is available along the southern end of Heatherdale Road in Vermont. Registration is open from 10 am to 11 am, giving participants the flexibility to join in on the activities until 1.30 pm. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy during the day, but please note that there are no toilets on-site. For any inquiries, shoot an email over to enquiries@drocorienteering.com.au.
