Are you the owner of Finlake Riding Centre?

Liam here, the organiser for the Finlake Riding Centre, has a special note for the sports community. He is excited to invite everyone to this fantastic horse riding school nestled in the Teign Valley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Chudleigh, Devon. There's something for everyone, whether you're a newbie or an experienced rider.
Finlake Riding Centre sits adjacent to Finlake Holiday Park and boasts 130 acres of private parkland and countryside—perfect for scenic off-road hacking and woodland trails. The all-weather surfaced bridle tracks mean you can ride even when the weather's not so great.
Liam and his team welcome riders of all ages and abilities. Beginners can enjoy gentle treks around woodland trails on well-behaved cobs, guided by seasoned instructors. For those with more experience, there are longer, more exhilarating rides, including evening pub rides. Young children and nervous adults can opt for a half-hour stroll with dedicated staff for support.
There are even opportunities for very small children to ride adorable miniature Shetland ponies or slightly larger Dartmoor ponies.
Besides hacking, Finlake Riding Centre also offers a range of lesson options. Whether you're learning to ride, wanting to join the pony club, or seeking local, experienced instructors, there's something to suit your needs. Adults and children alike are welcome, catering to beginners and advanced riders.
Horse and pony welfare is a top priority at Finlake Riding Centre. Liam’s dedicated team ensures all equines are well-cared for, and customer safety is paramount, with pre-ride inspections always welcomed.
Visitors must wear sensible footwear, and children must wear boots. Sandals, flip-flops, and sliders are not allowed on the yard to keep safety standards high. Dogs aren't permitted either, for everyone's safety.
Liam expresses his gratitude to all their lovely clients who continue to sanitise and follow government guidelines on social distancing. He reminds new visitors about the booking conditions and COVID-19 requirements. Clean gloves are needed for both leaders and riders, sturdy footwear for leaders, and shoes or boots with a small heel for riders. Gloves can be purchased, and boots can be borrowed if needed.
Riders should wear comfortable trousers and avoid dresses, sandals, or flip-flops on the yard. It’s important for visitors to arrive at least 15 minutes before their ride to avoid missed appointments and disruptions.
