Further works, such as consolidating the turf, constructing shared user paths, and installing park furniture, were completed by May 2021, enabling the reopening of Ferrie Oval for casual and sporting use.
Looking ahead, additional lighting works are scheduled to take place between March and May 2022, focusing on the oval and car park areas. This will further enhance the facilities and provide a well-lit environment for evening activities.
