At Embers Dance Company, the safety, and well-being of our dancers is our top priority. We have strict policies in place to ensure that our dancers' bodies are never overstretched, keeping them safe and strong for whatever comes their way. Our teachers are fully DBS checked and trained in Early Years development, safeguarding, and First Aid.

Following programmes from the British Theatre Dance Association, we provide OFQUAL accredited classes in Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Acro. We even have Adult Only classes for those who want to continue their dance journey or work on their own flexibility.
Our Classical Ballet classes teach the highly developed technique, grace, and precision required for this artistic dance form. From beginner classes to Adult Only sessions, we cater to dancers of all ages.
In Modern Jazz, we reject the limitations of Classical Ballet and focus on powerful and energetic movements. Tap dancing is all about audibly tapping out rhythms with special shoes, and our classes are available to all ages.
Lyrical dancing combines Ballet and Jazz, creating a style that allows for emotional expression through movement. Our Contemporary classes offer a unique blend of syllabus and non-syllabus work, allowing for freedom and exploration in movement.
For dancers looking to strengthen their pointe technique, our Pointe class is tailored to intermediate and advanced levels of training. However, it is an invitation-only class, as it requires strong Ballet technique and passing strength tests.
Our Little Embers Baby Ballet classes are designed to introduce toddlers and young children to the physical and social benefits of Ballet. Through song and dance in a safe and positive environment, children can enjoy the magic of dance.
For adults who want to continue their dance journey or simply work on their flexibility, we offer Adult Only classes in Ballet, Tap, and Contemporary. These classes are taught in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with no pressure of upcoming examinations.
Located at Prospect House on 47 Sandy Lane in Leyland, our classes are held in our upstairs studio during term time.
