Rosie Blake, a certified yoga instructor and experienced practitioner herself, brings her years of knowledge and passion for yoga to the studio. She completed her yoga teacher training with YogaCampus in London and continues to attend yearly trainings with renowned instructors Rod Stryker and Richard Freeman. Rosie's yoga journey has taken her around the world, including the USA, India, Vietnam, Costa Rica, Morocco, and Portugal. With her playful approach to yoga, Rosie combines controlled breathing, fluid movements, and the grace of dance to find tranquilly and stillness.
Through mindful creative sequencing, she aims to deepen self-awareness and encourage a gentler approach to life. Rosie's Tantra/Hatha style of yoga inspires students to extend their yoga experience beyond the studio and into their everyday lives, promoting a calmer and more contented approach to life.
Anita Tempest-Keeping, another experienced yoga teacher at ekam yoga studio, discovered her passion for yoga after her very first class. In 2010, she studied for her foundation diploma certificate in yogic studies with the British Wheel of Yoga, which provided her with an understanding and respect for eastern knowledge and philosophy. Anita's dedication to yoga took her on a year-long journey, where she visited yoga ashrams and experienced the yogic way of life. She then travelled to India to train as a teacher of the Sivananda tradition in the Himalayas.
Anita also holds certifications in teaching yoga for pregnancy and practises Vipassana meditation.
Maria Caldralo, a qualified yoga instructor since 2015, brings her passion for mindfulness and joy to her classes. She trained with Still Flowing Yoga, headed by Gemma Mallol, and also practised under Gwyneth Saxton for 14 years. Maria's classes are gentle yet challenging, with a focus on bringing attention into the body. She believes in the importance of having fun with yoga and encourages playfulness and joy in her classes.
Maria's dedication to understanding the human body led her to train in sports massage, allowing her to integrate her love for working with the body into her yoga practise.
