This is a national event where ECKA members from across the country come together to compete in various divisions. Spectators are welcome!

The club, part of the national English Contact Karate Association (ECKA), has been providing karate and kickboxing training to individuals of all ages and skill levels since the mid-1980s. Sensei Dev Barrett, the ECKA Chief Instructor, founded the Bletchley Club and handed it over to his student, Sensei Geoff Aldridge, who has been running the club since 1999.
At the ECKA Bletchley Dragons Karate Club, the emphasis is on creating a fun, family-centric environment where students can develop physical fitness, confidence, and practical self-defence techniques. The club has a proud history of producing Black Belts and national champions in fighting competitions. With highly qualified and long-standing instructors, the club ensures that students receive the best possible training. All instructors have up-to-date Enhanced DBS checks, first aid qualifications, and insurance.
The club offers a variety of classes throughout the week to cater to different age groups and skill levels. New beginners are always welcome to attend a free trial class to get a taste of what the club has to offer. Classes take place at the Coronation Hall on Stoke Road in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. Lil' Dragons classes are available for children aged 5 and above, while separate classes are held for adults and older children.
Extra sparring sessions and advanced training are also available for those looking for additional challenges.
In addition to regular classes, the ECKA Bletchley Dragons Karate Club organises various events and seminars throughout the year to enhance training and provide opportunities for members to showcase their skills. These events include gradings, where students can progress to higher belt levels, as well as competitions such as the ECKA National Championships and the ECKA Cup.
