At East End Surf Life Saving Club, the safety of the public is of utmost importance. As part of its community service, the club voluntarily provides highly skilled and dedicated lifeguards at East End Beach. Their primary function is to prevent drowning incidents and ensure the safety of beachgoers. In addition to this crucial role, the club also focuses on educating the public in safe open water practises, facilitating skill development within its membership, promoting healthy and safe recreational use of the beach, and providing sporting and leisure opportunities for all club members.
