The East End Surf Life Saving Club is a community-focused and inclusive club located in New Plymouth. As one of the premier surf lifesaving clubs in the area, East End offers a range of opportunities for members of all ages and abilities to get involved in various activities, such as Junior Surf, Senior Surf, IRB's, Surf boats, and Masters swimming.

Whether you are a new member or a returning one, East End welcomes everyone with open arms. The club takes pride in providing top quality coaches, training programmes, and gear to ensure that all members have the support they need to achieve their goals and excel in their chosen surf sports.

At East End Surf Life Saving Club, the safety of the public is of utmost importance. As part of its community service, the club voluntarily provides highly skilled and dedicated lifeguards at East End Beach. Their primary function is to prevent drowning incidents and ensure the safety of beachgoers. In addition to this crucial role, the club also focuses on educating the public in safe open water practises, facilitating skill development within its membership, promoting healthy and safe recreational use of the beach, and providing sporting and leisure opportunities for all club members.
