Cooley Kickhams GFC is a thriving football club based in Carlingford, County Louth. With a rich history and a strong focus on community, the club offers a range of teams for all ages and abilities. The Senior Men's Football team competes at a high level, with three senior teams, a junior team, and an U21 team. The Ladies section of the club is equally impressive, with 11 different teams starting at the U7 age group.
For younger players, Cooley Kickhams GFC provides opportunities through Juvenile Boys Teams for boys aged 7-17, Girls Teams for girls aged 8-18, and Camogie for girls aged Under 12 up to 18. The club also runs the Cooley g Nursery Programme, introducing Boys & Girls aged 4-6 to the love of GAA. Additionally, the Cooley All Stars Summer Programme caters to children aged 5-18 with additional needs, promoting inclusivity and diversity within the club.
Situated in the stunning Cooley Peninsula, the club's grounds are regarded as some of the best in Ireland, offering a picturesque backdrop for training and matches. The club is led by a passionate group of individuals, including Niall Brady as Club Chairman & Designated Liaison Person, Kieran Traynor as Juvenile Chairman, Anne McDonald as Ladies Chairperson & Children's Officer, and Susan O'Neill as Camogie Chairperson. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, support, and skill development, Cooley Kickhams GFC welcomes players of all ages to train, play, and support the club in achieving success on and off the field.
