At Chimaera Climbing Outdoors, our goal is to provide an exhilarating indoor rock climbing experience that can be enjoyed by climbers of all ages and abilities. We are located in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, in the heart of the South East, just an hour outside of London.
Our dedicated bouldering centre features one of the finest bouldering walls in the area, with a variety of different angled walls that offer unique challenges for climbers. We also have a dedicated training area equipped with campus boards, finger boards, a 40-degree wall, and more, for those looking to improve their skills and strength.
Not only do we provide a great climbing experience, but we also have a fully licenced caf where climbers can grab a snack or a well-earned drink after their session. We also have an in-house shop that sells all the essentials for climbing, including chalk, tape, clothing, shoes, and guidebooks covering the local sandstone crags. We even offer gift vouchers for those looking to give the gift of climbing.
Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are all avid climbers themselves and are always eager to offer advice and guidance to climbers of all levels. They are familiar with the local sandstone rocks and can provide valuable insight and recommendations for outdoor climbing as well.
