YogaJo's, the popular Yoga club in Glasgow, is excited to announce an upcoming event that is perfect for individuals with mobility issues – Chair Yoga. Created specifically for those who may not be able to participate in traditional mat-based yoga classes, Chair Yoga provides a safe and accessible way to relax and move their bodies from head to toe.
This inclusive activity is not limited to any specific group; it is suitable for older people, individuals with injuries, disabilities, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, chronic back pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, and many others. Whether you're looking to improve strength, flexibility, balance, or simply destress, Chair Yoga offers a range of benefits for all participants.
The class takes place every Monday morning at 11 am, providing a great opportunity to kick off the week in a positive and mindful way. No need to book in advance or worry about missing out – just come along and join in. YogaJo's operates the class on a donation basis, with a recommended contribution of £5. However, we understand that financial circumstances can vary, so if you are unable to make a donation, you are still very much welcome to attend the class free of charge.
Attending Chair Yoga at YogaJo's means more than just physical exercise. It's an opportunity to improve mental clarity, meet new people, and socialise in a warm and friendly environment. Additionally, practising Chair Yoga can help manage stress and pain, provide opportunities for personal growth, and enhance overall well-being. It's a chance to maintain independence and engage in daily activities with confidence.
