With a background in fitness and personal training, Jessica discovered yoga in 2002, and it quickly became an integral part of her life. Yoga taught her the importance of building an honest and kind relationship between body, mind, and breath. Through yoga, one can cultivate strength and spaciousness, resistance and release, ultimately finding equilibrium and freedom of movement.

Her certifications in Aqua Aerobics, Stability Ball, and Boxercise provide her with a wider perspective and deeper insight into the fitness world.
In addition to yoga instruction, Jessica is also a qualified Reiki therapist. She completed her Reiki Practitioner Level 1 and 2 training with the Natural Health Centre in Totnes. Reiki is a non-intrusive method that promotes integration of the physical, mental, and emotional bodies in a deep state of relaxation. Through Reiki therapy, Jessica aims to provide a holistic approach to wellbeing, helping individuals achieve balance and harmony in all aspects of their lives.
In 2010, Jessica fully qualified as a Yoga Teacher with the Kevala Yoga Centre in Torquay. This comprehensive training programme provided her with a wealth of knowledge in body postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and specialised yoga practises for prenatal and postnatal stages, as well as for children.
In 2015, Jessica embarked on a two-year post-graduate Yoga Therapy teacher training course with the Devon School of Yoga in Exeter. This course further deepened her knowledge and skills in addressing physical and mental health through self-care strategies. Yoga therapy focuses on the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of an individual, recognising that physical ailments can be worsened by stress, anxiety, and other emotions. By working holistically, yoga therapy helps improve overall awareness and understanding of psychological and physiological patterns, promoting higher levels of well-being.
