Cardigan Bowls Club, also known as Clwb Bowlio Aberteifi, has a rich history that dates back to 1713 when the first bowling green in Cardigan was located in the castle. In 1925, a new bowling green was opened in a different part of town, which eventually became a car park. It wasn't until 1965 when Cardigan Bowling Club was established at its current location. Over the years, the club has grown in strength and membership.
The club welcomes visitors, guests, and potential new members with open arms. They have a diverse membership base that spans across all ages, from teenagers to octogenarians. Some of their members, both men and women, have even represented Wales in international competitions, showcasing the club's dedication to the sport. Additionally, players from Cardigan Bowls Club frequently make appearances in the county team and the over 60s county team.

They have two league teams, Cardigan and Aberteifi, both of which have achieved great success in the Ceredigion County Bowling Association league. The outdoor green is open from late spring until early autumn, and competitions take place throughout the season.
Meanwhile, the indoor bowling centre is used year-round for roll-ups, internal club leagues, and competitions.
