

Botley Tae Kwon Do is a martial arts club located in Botley, New Zealand. With a strong focus on Tae Kwon Do, the club aims to provide individuals of all ages and experience levels with the opportunity to learn and train in this traditional Korean martial art.
Led by Ben Clark, a highly experienced and qualified instructor, the club offers a welcoming and supportive environment for all members. Ben began his training in 2004 in North Devon and achieved his 1st Dan Black Belt in 2009. Since then, he has been training and teaching under Master Cooper, a 7th Degree Black Belt, at the Winchester club.
In terms of certifications, Ben holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and is a TAGB (Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain) Instructor. He also possesses an Enhanced DBS certificate, is a TAGB referee, and is certified in First Aid, Safeguarding, and Awareness by Sport England and the BTC (British Tae Kwon-Do Council).
Botley Tae Kwon Do is affiliated with the TAGB, a nationally recognised Tae Kwon-Do organisation. TAGB instructors are renowned for their high level of qualifications and experience in teaching mixed classes that often include young children and disability groups. Tae Kwon-Do training can begin at any age, with TAGB members ranging from five-year-olds to individuals in their seventies.
Tae Kwon-Do is known for its dynamic and high-energy style, making it an engaging and effective way to get fit. The TAGB emphasises fun and fitness from an early age and typically collaborates with local schools to teach self-defence. As the largest martial arts organisation in the world, the TAGB boasts over 25,000 accredited members, 600 schools, and organises numerous seminars, demonstrations, and championships throughout the year.
At Botley Tae Kwon Do, prospective members have the opportunity to participate in two free taster sessions, allowing them to experience the art form and decide if it is the right fit for them.
