Kate's love for travel led her to a transformative experience in a yoga and meditation retreat in Cambodia. This retreat sparked her passion for pregnancy yoga, which she later pursued by training with Clare Maddalena, Senior Yoga teacher and founder of LushTums. As a result, Kate became a qualified Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga Teacher.
To further enhance her expertise in yoga, Kate completed additional training with Sally Parks Yoga and Real Fertile. This training focused on adapting yoga practises and exercise to accommodate the menstrual cycle and support natural conception or IVF. She also became an accredited Menopause Yoga teacher after training with Petra Coveney, a leading Menopause yoga expert in the UK.
At Bloom Yoga Bristol, Kate believes in the power of yoga as a journey of self-discovery that integrates the mind, body, and spirit. Her classes aim to decrease stress and anxiety, release tension and aches, promote restful sleep, and improve balance, flexibility, and strength. In addition to her yoga expertise, Kate is also a qualified Birth & Postnatal Doula. This qualification allows her to provide support and guidance to families during the childbirth process. She is registered with FEDANT and has been trained in various aspects of doula work.

These include 100hr Pregnancy Yoga and Antenatal Education, 100hr Postnatal Yoga, Fertility Yoga, Biomechanics for Birth Foundation Course, and more.
