Since its humble beginnings, the academy has grown to accommodate around 150 pupils and continues to go from strength to strength. In 2010, the school moved to its own purpose-built and fully equipped studio at “The Factory Studios” in Bournemouth. Blackwell Dance Academy offers a diverse range of classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Acro, Commercial, and Musical Theatre. Clare's own dance career took her to various countries and saw her perform in renowned UK theatres alongside notable stars such as Bruce Forsyth, Brian Connolly, Paul Nicholas, and Mel B. Her choreographic work spans television and theatre, including three consecutive years of collaborating with Keith Harris on the Fareham Pantomime. Clare's passion for choreography is evident in the annual show, where all pupils have the opportunity to participate and experience the thrill of performing.

Clare also encourages students to take part in other performance events to nurture their confidence and grow as dancers.
