Bideford Yoga is led by Nicola, a highly experienced Yoga instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience. Nicola is based in Bideford, Northam, North Devon, and offers classes in various locations including Bideford, Northam, Westward Ho! And also conducts online classes via Zoom.
Nicola's passion for Yoga started over two decades ago, and she has dedicated herself to the practise ever since. She has had the privilege of studying yoga with renowned teachers such as Duncan Huilin at the Devon School of Yoga, Wendy Teasdill for British Wheel of Yoga pregnancy teacher training, Uma Dinsmore Tuli, Rod Stryker, Tias Little, Doug Keller, and more. She is currently undertaking Pete Blackaby's teacher training course and attending workshops on learning Trauma Release Exercises.
In addition to her yoga practise, Nicola is deeply committed to her meditation practise and regularly attends retreats with teachers such as Dr Shen Hongxi, B. K. Frantzis, and Burgs. The guidance and insights gained from her meditation practise have helped her navigate the ups and downs of life.
As a smallholder living in North Devon, Nicola enjoys spending time outdoors and growing her own fruits and vegetables. Her husband, Ranald, is a local Chinese herbalist acupuncturist, and together, they strive to provide healthy and nourishing food for their family of five. Nicola also finds pleasure in playing tennis, walking, jogging, and occasionally taking a dip in the sea.
Nicola's classes are designed to cater to individuals who are looking to nurture their bodies and minds. Whether you're seeking flexibility, relief from aches and pains, or dealing with injuries or health issues, Nicola will adapt and fine-tune the practise to suit your needs. She is constantly learning and evolving her teaching style to ensure that each practise is individualised and beneficial.
The cost of classes is 5. 00 for hour-long sessions and 6. 00 for hour and a half sessions. Payments can be made through cash, bank transfer, or cheque.
