Welcome to Bertram School of Dance, a premier ballet and dance school located in Brighton and Rottingdean. We offer ballet classes for boys, girls, teenagers, and adults of all abilities and ages.
At Bertram School of Dance, we believe in the enjoyment of dance as the core focus of our teaching. Whether you are a beginner or have previous dance experience, we have classes that cater to your needs.
Children's ballet classes start from three years old and are open to both boys and girls. We also offer examinations for those who wish to pursue a more structured approach to ballet.
For adults, we have various classes available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our adult ballet classes are suitable for mixed abilities, allowing everyone to experience and appreciate the art of ballet.
Our Wednesday classes are held at The Whiteway Centre in Rottingdean. We offer a mixed ability adult ballet class from 2:15pm to 3:15pm, a beginner primary/standard 1 ballet class for children from 3:30pm to 4:20pm, and a ballet class for teenagers from 4:20pm onwards.
On Thursdays, our classes take place at the Hanover Community Centre in Brighton. We have children's ballet classes for ages 3 to 5 from 3:35pm to 4:00pm, a student ballet grade 5 class from 4:15pm to 5:00pm, a students ballet class for grade 6 including pointe work from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, and an adults mixed ability ballet class from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
