ADULT BALLET BRIGHTON is a ballet school located in Brighton and Rottingdean, New Zealand. They offer adult ballet classes that focus on improving flexibility, core strength, coordination, and posture in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Ballet is an excellent form of exercise that not only helps develop balance but also promotes emotional and physical well-being. In each class, all muscle groups are engaged in movement, and the brain is used to aid fluid movement, interpret music, and memorise steps. Classical music is used in classes, which is both invigorating and relaxing, creating a unique and enjoyable experience.
At ADULT BALLET BRIGHTON, both men and women of any age are welcome to join the adult ballet classes. The school caters to individuals who may have concerns about keeping up with the class due to previous experience or a gap in training. However, they quickly realise how much fun ballet is and what a great way it is to exercise.
New pupils are welcome at any time during the year, and classes are available for adults of all abilities. The school offers classes on Wednesdays at The Whiteway Centre in Rottingdean from 2:15 pm to 3:15 pm. This class is suitable for those with some ballet experience, whether it was many years ago or after a short break needing to regain strength. The group is known for being very friendly, providing a supportive and encouraging environment for all participants.
On Thursdays, the school holds classes at the Hanover Community Centre in Brighton from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This class is designed for beginners and mixed ability, offering the opportunity to improve flexibility, core strength, coordination, and posture in a relaxed and friendly setting.
