For seniors, Norths Volleyball Association competes in the leading Volleyball League (PVL), which is the highest level club-representative volleyball competition in South East Queensland. The PVL season takes place from May to September and includes divisions for men and women in Open divisions (premier, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3). Norths enters teams in all divisions, providing an opportunity for players of various skill levels to compete.

In addition to the PVL, Norths Volleyball Association also participates in the Queensland Volleyball State Championships. This annual tournament brings together the top teams from across Queensland to compete for the title of the number one team in the state. For juniors, Norths Volleyball Association offers the Cadets Training Programme, catering to boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 15. This training programme, also known as Cadets Basic Training, focuses on skill development and caters to all ability levels. The programme runs on Tuesdays, with two options available: Cadets Basic for those aged 13 and under or with limited volleyball experience, and Cadets Intermediate for those aged 14 and above with previous volleyball experience. The programme runs for eight weeks, starting in week 3 of Term 2.

To participate in the Cadets Training Programme, players must also be registered with Volleyball Queensland as a junior recreational member. This ensures that all participants are properly insured and have access to the benefits and resources provided by Volleyball Queensland.
