Practise and study by B. K. S. Iyengar.
It is a precise and systematic method of yoga that focuses on alignment, sequencing, and the use of props to help students achieve optimal alignment and gain a deeper understanding of the postures.
At Noosa Yoga Centre, students of all levels are welcome. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, our classes are designed to meet you where you are and help you progress in your practise. Our intimate classes ensure that you receive individual attention and guidance from our experienced teachers.
Owned and operated by Di and Jeff Campbell, two of Noosa's most experienced Iyengar yoga practitioners, Noosa Yoga Centre has been a staple in the community since its founding in 1988. After a temporary closure to focus on their family health, they reopened the studio in January 2020 as a home studio, offering classes four days a week.
The studio is a purpose-built boutique yoga space located in Noosaville. As you enter the studio, you will immediately feel a sense of calm and tranquilly. We provide all the necessary props, including mats, straps, blocks, bolsters, and wall ropes, to support you in your practise.
We believe in the power of yoga to transform and heal both the body and mind. Yoga is not just a physical exercise; it is a spiritual practise that allows you to reconnect with your wholeness and find balance in your life. It is a practise that can be adapted to any body type, age, or fitness level.
Noosa Yoga Centre is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all students. We acknowledge and pay our respect to the traditional custodians of the land, the Gubbi Gubbi people, and recognise their continuing connexion to the land.
Join us at Noosa Yoga Centre and experience the benefits of Iyengar Yoga for yourself. Whether you are looking to increase strength and flexibility, reduce stress, or deepen your mindfulness practise, our classes will support you in achieving your goals.
