City of Perth SLSC

The City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club is located at City Beach in Perth, Western Australia. The club was formed in 1924 by members of the City of Perth Amateur Swimming Club, to provide a volunteer water safety and surf rescue service. It has now grown to become one of Australia’s largest and most successful surf life-saving clubs. The club patrols a 2 kilometre stretch of beach, from the Swanbourne rifle range to the Floreat groyne.

Members patrol the beach between the hours of 9am and 5pm on weekends and public holidays from October 1 to March 31 each year.
