3rd Chalkwell Bay Sea Scout Group is a thriving and dynamic organisation located in the heart of Old Leigh, UK. As one of the largest and most active Sea Scout groups in the country, they offer exciting challenges and adventures to over 250 young people aged 6 to 25, and even beyond. Recognised by the Royal Navy as one of the top 100 Sea Scout groups in the UK, 3rd Chalkwell Bay Sea Scout Group is also accredited as a Royal Yachting Association and Duke of Edinburgh's Award Training Centre, providing training opportunities for young people throughout the year.

At 3rd Chalkwell Bay Sea Scout Group, young people can join various age-specific sections, including Beavers (6-8 years old), Cubs (8-10 1/2 years old), Scouts (10 1/2-14 years old), Explorers (14–18 years old), and Network (18–25 years old). Each section offers a unique programme that allows young people to gain new skills, while also participating in community service and helping others.
