YogiOli Doula is a dedicated Homebirth Doula and Yoga teacher located in Stroud, Gloucestershire. With a passion for bringing yoga to people of all ages and abilities, YogiOli aims to empower parents and provide them with informed choices when it comes to birthing.
Oli, also known as a grateful Yoga instructor and Birth Doula, has a background in acting and circus performance. However, her fascination with birth and pregnancy led her to explore a career in supporting families. She has always been involved in helping families, whether through nannying or teaching children, and she finds their energy and approach to life inspiring. Olis love for self-development work and belief in the power of yoga led her to change her career path completely and focus on preparing individuals for parenthood.
In 2018, Oli embarked on a solo journey to India, where she completed her training in Hatha & Pregnancy Yoga. It was during this time that YogiOli was born. As she supported her clients through various pregnancy-related issues, she realised that she was doing more than just teaching yoga; she was also providing doula services. Motivated by her desire to empower and support parents during the birthing process, Oli undertook training to become a qualified Birth Doula.
She strives to create a safe and empowering environment for parents, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their journey.
As a Birth Worker, Oli is known for her supportive, compassionate, dynamic, and inclusive approach. She firmly believes that every person should enter the world with love and nurturing, and as a doula, she aims to provide the foundation for her clients to achieve that within themselves. Oli is also an active advocate and member of the LGBTQ+ community, working with families that consist of diverse identities and dynamics.
YogiOli's training includes Hatha Yoga (Yoga Vidya Gurukul 200 Hours TTC), Pre and Postnatal Yoga (Yoga Vidya Gurukul 100 Hours TTC), Children's Yoga (Wellbeing Bees 40 Hours TTC), Yin Yoga (50 Hours TTC), and Birth Doula Training from UK Certified Birth & Postnatal Doula/Red Tent Doulas UK and The Original Birth Connexion.
