For women I'm a runner/cyclist and thought it wouldn't burn as many calories Yoga has truly transformed VickiB's life, and she is passionate about sharing its benefits with others. As a certified yoga teacher with over 25 years of personal practise, VickiB brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her classes.
VickiB's yoga journey began after a major trauma to her left foot, which required extensive surgery and rehabilitation. Through the practise of yoga, she was able to rebuild her strength and flexibility, ultimately finding healing and a renewed sense of self. She understands firsthand the power of yoga to bring physical and mental transformation.
VickiB's teaching style is focused on creating a safe and inclusive space for all students, regardless of their age, gender, or fitness level. She believes that yoga is for everyone and encourages her students to be kind to themselves as they embark on their own yoga journeys.
Having completed the Yoga Alliance 200hr training through Om Yoga London, as well as specialised training in Embodied Anatomy & Physiology Applied to Yoga, VickiB is well-equipped to guide her students through their practise. She is fully insured to teach individuals over the age of 18.
One of the aspects VickiB loves most about teaching is witnessing her students' progress and witnessing their own self-discovery on the mat. She finds immense joy in hearing her students express their newfound love for yoga and their surprise at what they are capable of achieving.
VickiB particularly enjoys working with complete beginners, addressing any doubts or misconceptions they may have about yoga. She firmly believes that it is never too late to start practising and that yoga can benefit individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She also welcomes male students, as yoga is equally challenging and rewarding for both genders.
For those who commit to regular practise, whether in class or at home, VickiB believes that they can truly embrace and reap the benefits of yoga. She emphasises the importance of consistency and recommends attending classes twice a week, if possible.
As a yoga teacher, VickiB not only sees her students grow, but she also grows alongside them. She finds teaching to be a rewarding experience that constantly fuels her own personal growth and development. She believes that every student has their own unique journey, and she takes joy in being a part of their progress.
