She has a great ability to read the body both physically and emotionally, understanding when to push, challenge, and explore new postures, as well as when to give helpful adjustments and direct awareness within the practise. I am forever grateful to her as she has given me the grounding skills and confidence to enjoy and practise yoga for years to come.
Tiffy, the instructor behind Yoga with Tiffy, sees yoga as a friendly hello to the body and a way to come home to oneself. She believes that yoga offers a therapeutic route to finding and unravelling tension, moving towards greater ease and balance. With a focus on mindful movement sequences, longer-held postures, and conscious rest, Tiffy's teaching style aims to connect individuals to their body's innate wisdom and resilience.
Having started her yoga journey in the 1990s, Tiffy went on to complete a one-year full-time yoga teacher training with YogaArts in Australia, becoming an International Yoga Alliance certified teacher in 2002. Throughout the years, she has continued to explore and study various forms of yoga with different teachers, including Astanga, Iyengar, restorative and therapeutic yoga, breathwork and meditation, as well as yoga for pregnancy and beyond. Recently, she has developed additional expertise in yoga for pelvic health and yoga for menopause, reflecting her ever-deepening passion for the practise.
Tiffy's classes are known for their welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful teaching, and sensitivity to each individual's needs. She combines yoga for the body and soul, offering a good mix of challenges in the poses while emphasising the importance of stillness and breath.
