Welcome to Yoga with Sue, a yoga studio located in Newport, New Zealand. At Yoga with Sue, we believe that yoga is for everyone, and we offer a variety of classes to suit all levels and abilities.

Our primary focus is on Hatha yoga, a gentle and mindful form of yoga that helps to increase flexibility, balance, muscle tone, and strength. Whether you're looking to improve your physical health or find relaxation for your mind and body, our classes are designed to cater to your needs.

In today's fast-paced and busy world, finding time to slow down and take care of ourselves can be a challenge. Yoga provides a space for us to pause, focus on ourselves, and find a little extra balance. By integrating breathing exercises, meditation, and postures that stretch and flex different muscle groups, yoga brings harmony and awareness to both the mind and body.

The benefits of yoga are numerous and include reducing chronic pain, increasing flexibility, improving metabolism, energy, and vitality, managing stress, and attaining a more positive outlook on life. Regardless of your age, occupation, or stage of life, yoga is open to all and can be tailored to meet your individual needs.

Classes at Yoga with Sue are a mixture of live and Zoom sessions, providing flexibility and convenience for our students. We also offer outdoor yoga classes in the beautiful Caerleon Amphitheatre. Additionally, we are excited to announce that Lam Rim is now open, and we will be running day retreats throughout the year.

Your teacher, Sue Baynham-Evans, is a qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher and Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs instructor. With her expertise and guidance, you can be assured of a safe and nurturing environment to explore and deepen your yoga practise.
