Yoga with Madli is an East London-based yoga instructor who offers fun, welcoming, and accessible yoga classes. Madli, who goes by she/her pronouns, is a friendly introvert with a surprising dose of clumsiness. She has a deep appreciation for a good cup of coffee and enjoys exploring new places by walking wherever the road takes her.

Madli's yoga journey began in 2014 when she was awakened by the melodious songs of birds outside her window. Unable to go back to sleep, she decided to give yoga a try, especially since she had read that it was beneficial for runners like herself. Initially, touching her toes in a forward fold seemed impossible due to stiffness, but she gradually began spending more time on her mat, deepening her yoga practise.

In 2018, Madli completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training with master teacher Ana Forrest in Texas, specialising in Forrest Yoga. She has also become a certified breath coach and has recently undertaken Poppy Perinatal Yoga training in 2021. Additionally, Madli is a certified Animal Flow L1 instructor with plans to continue expanding her expertise in the field.

For Madli, yoga is not just a physical practise but a way of thinking and living. She believes that true change can only occur when we examine ourselves, our habits, and our relationships with our bodies, minds, and thoughts. Through her classes, Madli encourages her students to create their own paths towards a better relationship with themselves and their lives, even during the most challenging times.

Madli's yoga classes are suitable for all levels of practitioners, from beginners to more experienced individuals. She understands that everyone has different needs and offers multiple options for each posture, allowing students to listen to their bodies and practise at their own pace. From guided breathwork and core exercises to seated and standing asanas, each session is designed to improve flexibility, strength, mobility, and release tension in the body. The class ends with a final relaxation pose, Savasana, to promote deep relaxation and integration.
