What it was, without resistance or judgement. This profound experience led me to specialise in prenatal yoga, as I believe every woman should have the opportunity to connect with their bodies in such a powerful way.
In my classes, I emphasise the importance of mindfulness and self-observation. I believe that by tuning into the body and breath, we can cultivate a deeper sense of awareness and find peace within ourselves. My teachings are authentic and infused with heart, as I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for my students.
I love incorporating props into my classes, as they can aid in finding more space, freedom, and stability in each posture. Props also offer endless learning opportunities for students to explore and deepen their practise.
You can find me teaching at various studios in St Kilda and other parts of Melbourne. I have a regular schedule at Warrior One in Brighton on Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as at WITH/IN in South Yarra on Sundays. Whether you are a beginner looking to start your yoga journey or an experienced practitioner wanting to deepen your practise, I offer private classes that cater to your specific needs and fitness level.
Additionally, I am passionate about bringing yoga into the corporate world. I work with a variety of businesses in Melbourne, providing yoga, stretching, mobility, and meditation classes for employees. Whether it's for a one-time session or a longer wellness programme, I can customise classes to suit your company's needs.
If you are expecting a baby, I also offer prenatal yoga classes that are tailored to each woman's needs, stage of pregnancy, and experience. As a mother myself, I understand the unique challenges and joys of pregnancy, and I am here to guide you through this special journey.
I am Alessia, a yoga teacher and mother of two, originally from Italy but now calling Melbourne home. Yoga has been a transformative practise in my life, and I am passionate about sharing its benefits with others. Join me for a class and experience the profound connexion of body and mind through the practise of yoga.
