Yoga with Adriana is a well-established yoga studio located in London, offering a range of one-to-one Vinsaya/Hatha yoga classes. Founded by Adriana, a highly experienced and qualified yoga teacher, the studio aims to provide a nurturing and personalised yoga experience for individuals of all levels.
Adriana's journey with yoga began in 2006 when she started practising Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, and Hatha Yoga. Over the years, she has deepened her practise and explored various styles, including Hot Yoga and Iyengar Yoga. In 2015, she made the decision to turn her passion for yoga into a career and completed the 500-hour Yoga Teaching Diploma at Yoga Junction with Tara Fraser and Tarik Dervish, accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga.
Continually expanding her knowledge and expertise, Adriana completed a post-natal teacher training course with Nadia Narain at Triyoga. Since then, she has been working with parents and their babies, providing valuable support and guidance in their yoga practise. In 2021, Adriana completed her MA in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS University, further enhancing her understanding of the ancient practise.
With her comprehensive understanding of yoga and commitment to ongoing learning, Adriana now plays an integral role in Yoga Teacher Trainings, specialising in the History and Philosophy of Yoga modules. She also offers mentorship and private sessions to yoga teachers, focusing on the rich history and philosophy of yoga.
Adriana's teaching style is dynamic and adaptable, tailored to the needs and capabilities of her students. Drawing from her personal experience with managing lower back pain and hyper-mobility, Adriana advocates for the holistic benefits of yoga, both physically and mentally. She emphasises the importance of breath as an anchor for the mind and incorporates concentration techniques into her vinyasa-based classes, infusing elements of yogic philosophy and history.
Group classes are held in North London, providing a welcoming and supportive community for yogis of all backgrounds. Additionally, Adriana offers corporate yoga sessions and one-to-one yoga throughout Central and North London.
