

To change my mind initially, as it was a very traditional and strict style of Yoga that did not resonate with me at all. However, I kept an open mind and continued to explore different styles of Yoga.
It wasn't until I discovered Hatha Yoga that everything clicked into place. Hatha Yoga offered a more balanced and gentle approach, focusing on both physical and mental well-being. I found that the practise of Hatha Yoga not only improved my flexibility and strength, but also helped me find inner peace and a deeper connexion with myself.
Inspired by my own experiences, I decided to become a certified Yoga instructor and create YOGAgility. YOGAgility is a reflection of my belief in the transformative power of Yoga and my desire to share that with others.
YOGAgility is a welcoming and inclusive Yoga studio located in Camberley, Surrey. We offer a mix of Hatha Yoga styles, suitable for people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities. Our classes provide a westernised approach to Yoga, without any extremes or confusing jargon. Our main goal is to help you become more agile and at ease with yourself and the world.
A typical YOGAgility class begins with a gentle wind-down, incorporating breathing exercises and simple meditation techniques. This is followed by easy warming and mobilising movements to prepare the body for more dynamic and challenging stretches. We end the session with relaxation and guided visualisation techniques, creating a soothing atmosphere.
What sets YOGAgility apart is our varied class content. Each week, we work with different themes or focus on different parts of the body. This includes floor work, backbends, sequences, energising poses, and restorative poses. We also incorporate elements from other disciplines and occasionally use props or partner work.
With regular practise at YOGAgility, you can expect to develop greater self-awareness and improved physical well-being. Your body will become stronger, more flexible, and you will experience better posture and reduced aches and pains. Additionally, the mental benefits of Hatha Yoga will become evident, with a more positive, patient, and peaceful outlook on life.
YOGAgility classes are taught by Madeleine, our experienced and passionate Yoga instructor. Madeleine was initially sceptical of Yoga herself, but her own transformation through Hatha Yoga inspired her to share the practise with others. She is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for all students to explore and grow in their Yoga journey.
