During the retreat, participants will have the opportunity to practise various styles of yoga including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, and Evolutionary Yoga. The retreats are suitable for practitioners of all levels, from beginners to experienced yogis. The experienced and dedicated senior yoga teachers, Peter and Sue, have been offering yoga retreats for over 15 years and are committed to providing a nurturing and transformative experience for all participants.

The yoga retreat centre is situated on the beautiful Bacelo estate in central Portugal. The centre is surrounded by a serene and healing forested valley, offering a tranquil and rejuvenating environment for guests. The retreat centre spans over 7 hectares of well-tended forest land, providing plenty of opportunities for peaceful walks along the forest tracks. The centre itself consists of traditional stone buildings that have been carefully renovated to provide comfortable accommodation for guests.

For those who want to immerse themselves even more deeply in nature, eco caravans are also available.

The centre features a large purpose-built practise space, a treatment room for additional wellness therapies, and a saltwater swimming pool with breathtaking views over the valley. Guests can also explore the 13 acres of forest land surrounding the centre, which includes beautiful terraces and ancient olive groves. A rejuvenating stream flows through natural slate rock pools, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere.

The yoga retreats are designed for medium-sized groups of people, allowing for personalised attention and fostering a true sense of community. When not participating in yoga classes, guests can socialise with like-minded individuals, find a quiet and contemplative space, take a refreshing dip in the pool, or explore the unique cork oak and medronah forest. In addition, there are specialised retreats for women, shamanic practises, and Qigong, providing opportunities for deep healing and transformation.
