YogaDevon - mindful yoga, meditation and holistic therapies across North Devon

It allows me to share my passion and knowledge with others. Growing up, I have always been drawn to yoga and meditation as a way to find balance, happiness, and contentment in my own life. Now, with over 25 years of teaching experience, I am dedicated to guiding others on their own transformative journeys.

My yoga classes at YogaDevon are designed to be welcoming, friendly, and inclusive. I believe that yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, body type, or fitness level. Whether you are new to yoga or have been practising for years, you are welcome on the mat. In fact, I encourage those who may feel wobbly, unfit, stiff, or creaky to join my classes.

This is a safe and compassionate space where everyone is accepted as they are.

While the physical benefits of yoga are undeniable, including increased flexibility, balance, and strength, I believe that yoga goes beyond the physical realm. Through breathwork, meditation, and mindful movement, yoga has the ability to transform our perception and understanding of ourselves. It deepens our awareness, grace, and ease in living with and being ourselves.

In addition to teaching yoga, I am also a practitioner of holistic therapies and an Usui Reiki Master. These practises have further enriched my understanding of the mind-body-spirit connexion and our relationship to the universe. I integrate these elements into my yoga classes, creating a holistic and comprehensive experience for my students.

At YogaDevon, I offer a variety of classes and workshops to cater to individual needs and lifestyles. From mindful and therapeutic yoga classes at Tarka Clinic in Barnstaple to online sessions in the comfort of your own home, there are options to suit everyone. Each class is designed to cultivate mindfulness, well-being, and equanimity, giving you the tools to find greater balance and contentment in your life.
