Yoga2gether

Yoga2gether is a serene and welcoming yoga studio located in Wokingham, New Zealand. Founded by Paul and Rachel Desbois, who have over 12 years of teaching experience, Yoga2gether aims to provide a space where individuals can find balance and harmony in their mind, body, and spirit.

Paul and Rachel have completed a 500-hour course with Ruth White, who is a direct student of BKS Iyengar, a renowned yoga teacher. Their training and experience have been further enriched by learning from other esteemed teachers such as David Sye and John Scott.

The teachings at Yoga2gether are rooted in the principles of BKS Iyengar, with a focus on clarity, precision, and alignment in asanas or postures. The classes cater to students of all levels of experience and ability, aiming to empower and support each individual in their yoga journey. Through clear verbal instruction, demonstrations, and adjustments, Paul and Rachel strive to offer a safe and nurturing environment for students to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally.

While physical asanas are an integral part of the practise at Yoga2gether, the studio recognises Yoga as a holistic discipline that encompasses more than just the physical aspect. Yoga is viewed as a practical philosophy and a science that promotes self-discipline, self-awareness, and personal evolution. The asana classes help develop strength, endurance, proper alignment, flexibility, and relaxation. In addition to yoga classes, Yoga2gether also offers massage services to further enhance well-being. Paul and Rachel provide rejuvenating massages that can be enjoyed in the comfort of one's home or at their garden studio. Clients can choose from various massage options, including scalp, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, and feet.
