Balance Yoga Coventry invites you to their Yoga for all, Menopause Yoga event! These classes are perfect for beginners who are looking to relax, explore, and move their bodies.
The classes are held at various locations throughout the week, offering flexibility for everyone's schedules. On Mondays, weather permitting, you can join the Park Yoga at Coventry War Memorial Park from 6.30-7.30pm. Starting from Monday 8th April 2024, the classes will switch to Zoom Yoga, allowing you to participate from the comfort of your own home.
If Tuesdays work better for you, head over to St. Barbara's Church Hall on Rochester Road, CV5 6AG from 12-1pm. The same venue also hosts a Wednesday evening class from 7.30-8.30pm, as well as a Thursday class from 7.30-8.30pm (excluding the 2nd Thursday of the month). All of these classes cost £10 per session. On the 2nd Thursday of the month, there is a Zoom Yoga class available.
For those who prefer a Friday morning session, join the Menopause Yoga at The Basement Snug, 13 High Street, Kenilworth CV8 1LY from 10-11am. This class specifically caters to perimenopausal and menopausal women, providing yoga sequences, breathwork, and mindful meditation to manage symptoms such as hot flushes, brain fog, insomnia, low mood, anxiety, and irritability. The cost for this special class is also £10 and includes the use of props and hot drinks.
Additionally, there are online Zoom Yoga classes available on Mondays from 7-8pm, Tuesdays from 7-8pm, Wednesdays from 9.30am-10.30am, and on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 7.30-8.30pm. These classes aim to help participants connect, strengthen, build, empower, soften, and bond.
Joining the Menopause Yoga event offers numerous benefits, including enhanced mobility, joyful movement, tension relief, efficient breathing, body-based meditation, and body autonomy. The focus is not on extreme postures or fast-paced sequences, and there is no judgement or gimmicks involved. So don't worry about performing a headstand!
Women in all stages of perimenopause and menopause are more than welcome to attend these classes. The Yoga instructor received Menopause Yoga training at The Newson Menopause Clinic in Stratford Upon Avon in November 2021, ensuring that the classes are tailored to address the unique needs of women experiencing this stage of life.
Aside from the physical exercises, the classes create a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Group discussions and monthly coffee shop meetings are held, providing an opportunity for participants to connect with others who may be feeling isolated or lonely.
Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to nurture your body, mind, and overall well-being. Reserve your spot today and embark on a journey of self-care and empowerment with Balance Yoga Coventry's Menopause Yoga event.
