YinYasa Yoga is the ideal place to begin or resume a yoga practise. Whether individuals are new to yoga or returning after an extended break, it offers a welcoming environment to start their journey. The mindful flow of YinYasa Yoga incorporates hip, shoulder, and spine releases, addressing areas where many of us store tension and stress. By practising this gentle, repetitive flow, individuals can delve deeper into long-held areas of stress and discomfort.
YinYasa Yoga serves as both a stand-alone yoga system and an introductory pathway to Astanga Vinyasa Yoga. The YinYasa practise is based on a structured sequence, where postures are performed in a specific and orderly manner known as Vinyasa. Each posture builds on the previous one, creating a harmonious interaction between the body, breath, mind, and movement. In YinYasa, each posture is held for an extended period, allowing for the strengthening and lengthening of connective tissues.
The integration of Vinyasa and Yin in this practise ensures holistic benefits, including increased flexibility, joint mobility, and mental clarity.
The studio offers two distinct YinYasa Yoga classes. The first is YinYasa Boost, a one-hour class suitable for individuals of all levels. This class focuses on improving balance, strength, and flexibility through a series of carefully selected standing and seated postures. It encourages progress while nurturing patience and contentment in the postures.
Beginners are welcome, but it is advisable for newcomers to try at least one YinYasa class before attending this class.
The second class is YinYasa Chill, a one-hour Foundational Meditation class. This class serves as an excellent entry point for individuals who have struggled with meditation in the past. It helps bridge the gap between daily life and inner tranquillity, guiding students towards a place of quiet and stillness.
At YinYasa Yoga, individuals can expect a supportive community and experienced teachers who will guide them on their yoga journey. The studio prioritises creating a welcoming and inclusive space where students can explore the physical and mental benefits of yoga. Whether individuals are looking to enhance their physical strength, reduce stress, or cultivate mindfulness, YinYasa Yoga offers the perfect environment to achieve their goals.
